Bob's Metelcasting needs a new CNC router and I decided that this one would be built from new material. Then I saw the price of the linear bearings at $125 and decided to build them myself. The dimensions are exactly the same as the manufactured bearings so that they can be swapped out at a later date.

The crud on this casting is the result of running my Vacuum Casting Box while pouring. It looks like a ruined casting but it easily chips off.
